1.White Box Projection

I created a travel video about a sakura trip I took to Japan in Spring 2019. Together with the real souvenirs and flight tickets placed on side, the entire scene recreate an impressive impression of the beautiful memories I had.

2. Outdoor Pico Projection

This is an outdoor project mapping with wireless AAXA pico projector

About an imaginary scene about a cat wandering in the backyard :)

3. Facial Projection Practice

I experimented this projection makeup on my roommate’s face. The difficulty was to accurately mapping on people’s faces because we are constantly moving. But the overall experience was fun and I believe this could be a trend for future projection ideas.

4. Mesh Layers practice

Class assignment experimenting with mesh layers to create an immersive effect

The scene is about the person walking through a light tunnel

5. Midterm Project - Interactive

The person found himself waking up in an underwater environment. He can't tell if this is a dream or reality. Little fishes jumping around, flash backs between the reality and the ocean scene all triggered his curiosity to explore more. Participant can relax in this installation on the bed and interact with the fish (and a treasure chest)
